The 6.8 lb., single-speed orbital buffer is easy to handle and operates at 3000 orbits per minute (opm) as it rotates and oscillates simultaneously. An orbital buffer is a great way to obtain a high gloss finish when waxing the car, truck or van. It also can be used on boats. RVs, ATVs, snowmobiles and personal watercraft. The cordless buffer eliminates the need for a power outlet, so the operator can easily move around the vehicle without obstruction.
The orbital buffer takes the hard work out of buffing by hand. By choosing the right bonnet and wax, the combination helps achieve superior results. And with the right compound, the butter[KR(U1] also is capable of eliminating slight imperfections such as scratches and swirl marks.
For best results, first wash the entire vehicle. Strategically place small drops of liquid wax on the bonnet and begin in a small area, moving the buffer in a left to right and up and down motion. Maintain control, keeping the buffer flush to the surface with minimal pressure allowing the buffer to do the work. Work in small sections at a time before advancing to the next area or panel. Once completed, use a micro-fiber cloth to gloss over the finish.
