Strongsville, OH – Northeast Ohio tool manufacturer, Woodpeckers, recently announced its new Xpander Clamp System. Based on an invention by creative genius, Izzy Swan, the Xpander connects 4 parallel jaw clamps to an accordion-like base. As the assembly expands and collapses the 4 clamps stay evenly spaced. When the job is done, the Xpander keeps the 4 clamps together in a tidy bundle that can stand in a corner until the next job comes up.
The Xpander works with all popular brands of parallel jaw clamps. There are 2 sizes, one for 24″ to 40″ clamps and one for 40″ to 50″ clamps. Set screws quickly and securely connect your clamps to the Xpander. The full range of any clamp is available because the clamp’s sliding head can be placed inside or outside the connecting brackets.
Woodpeckers has focused on the needs of hobbyist woodworkers since 1988 and began manufacturing the majority of their offerings in 1993. The company makes precision layout tools, router tables and lifts, innovative clamping tools, carbide-tipped woodturning tools and a wide variety of helpful shop products. Their facility houses a vast array of computer-controlled mills and lathes and employs over 200 skilled American workers.
